2. Eligibility and accounts
2.1 Age and capacity
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an Account and enter into binding contracts with us. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
2.2 Account registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your Account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your Account. Notify us immediately at support@professorsnote.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
2.3 One person, one account
Unless we expressly permit otherwise, each Account is for a single individual. You must not share, sell, transfer, or sublicense your Account credentials.
2.4 Admin and staff accounts
Accounts designated with administrative privileges are for authorised personnel only. Misuse of admin access is grounds for immediate termination and may be reported to authorities where applicable.
3. Platform services
Professor's Note provides an online learning and information platform that may include, from time to time:
- paid and free Courses with video-based instruction;
- a digital book library and optional book subscriptions;
- curated YouTube playlists and educational resources;
- supplementary services such as study notes, live sessions, mock tests, or doubt-clearing (as listed on the Platform);
- aggregated government job notices and related public-information listings;
- platform notifications, search, feedback, and account management tools.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or Content at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes that affect paid access they have already purchased, but we are not obliged to maintain any specific catalogue item indefinitely.
4. Purchases, pricing, and payments
4.1 Pricing and currency
All prices displayed on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes (including GST) as shown at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices for future purchases; price changes do not affect Orders already completed.
4.2 Payment processing
Payments are processed through Razorpay or other payment partners we may appoint. By completing a purchase, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method. We do not store full card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers; payment credentials are handled by the payment provider in accordance with its terms and PCI-DSS standards.
4.3 Order confirmation and access
Access to paid Digital Products is granted only after successful payment confirmation. An Order receipt is generated for your records. If payment fails, is reversed, or is disputed without valid grounds, we may suspend or revoke access until the matter is resolved.
4.4 Taxes and invoices
Where required by law, tax invoices will be issued using the billing information you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of billing details submitted at checkout.
5. Refunds and cancellations
5.1 General policy
Because Digital Products are delivered electronically and access may begin immediately upon payment, all sales are generally final. Refunds are granted only where required by applicable law or as described in a specific promotional offer.
5.2 Eligible refund circumstances
We may, at our sole discretion, consider refund requests where:
- you were charged but did not receive access due to a verified technical fault on our side;
- duplicate payment occurred for the same Digital Product;
- the Course or Digital Product was materially misdescribed and could not be accessed as advertised;
- applicable consumer protection law entitles you to a refund.
5.3 How to request a refund
Contact support@professorsnote.com within 7 calendar days of purchase with your receipt number, registered email, and a description of the issue. Refunds, if approved, are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, subject to bank or payment-provider timelines.
5.4 Chargebacks
Initiating an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute may result in Account suspension and recovery of associated costs where permitted by law.
6. Digital content licence
6.1 Limited licence
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use purchased Digital Products for your own private, non-commercial educational purposes.
6.2 Restrictions
Unless we expressly authorise otherwise in writing, you must not:
- copy, download (except where a download button is explicitly provided), reproduce, or redistribute Content;
- record, screen-capture, or re-stream video lessons for redistribution;
- share Account access or course links with third parties;
- remove watermarks, DRM, or copyright notices;
- use Content to create competing products or services;

- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source materials from the Platform.
6.3 Access duration
Course access duration, subscription periods, and renewal terms are displayed on the relevant product page or at checkout. We may revoke access if you breach these Terms or if an Order is refunded or reversed.
7. Intellectual property
All Content, trademarks, logos, software, design elements, and Platform code (excluding your User Content) are owned by Professor's Note or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of India and international treaties.
No rights are granted to you except the limited licence in Section 6. Unauthorised use may result in civil and criminal liability.
8. User content and acceptable use
8.1 User content
You may submit reviews, feedback, ratings, or other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, display, reproduce, and moderate it in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

8.3 Moderation
We may review, edit, remove, or refuse User Content at any time without notice. We are not obligated to monitor all User Content but may do so to enforce these Terms.
9. Government job notices
The Platform may display government job vacancies, exam notifications, admit cards, results, and similar public notices aggregated from third-party sources or submitted for moderation.
Important: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of such notices. Official announcements should always be verified on the relevant government or recruiting agency website before you apply, pay fees, or take action. 10. Third-party services
The Platform integrates with or links to third-party services including, without limitation, Razorpay (payments), YouTube (embedded video), and external websites referenced in books or job notices. 11. Educational disclaimers

12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Professor's Note and its directors, employees, partners, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Platform.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the specific Digital Product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 5,000.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Professor's Note and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your Account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse refund or payment systems, or where required by law. Upon termination, your licence to access Digital Products ends, except where access must continue under applicable consumer law.
You may close your Account at any time by contacting support. Closing an Account does not automatically entitle you to a refund of unused Digital Products.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or in-app notification). Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
